sophomores from UP, Ateneo, FEU, etc. have been awarded 4-year college
scholarships in Taiwan by the Manila Economic & Cultural Office
(MECO) and Kainan University. Basis for selection was their good
school performance as well as their aptitude for demanding studies

STUDY ENGLISH?

IS ESL?
ESL Program is a multi-level developmental course in
English as a second or foreign language for young and adults. The course concentrates
on four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with strong emphasis
on pronunciation improvement, vocabulary building, fluency enhancement, conversation
skills and practice and extension of grammatical structures. The primary aim of
the course is to teach communicative competence that is the ability to communicate
in English according to the purpose, situation and roles of the partcipants.
